Canon's Cottage is praised for its comfortable accommodation and prime location for walking and exploring the West Midlands and Welsh Marches. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space, friendly locals, and the village's picturesque setting. While some furnishings are noted as dated, the overall experience is relaxing and pleasant, with a minor issue regarding the shower head mentioned.
The cottage is described as clean and spotlessly clean by guests, indicating a high level of cleanliness throughout the property.
The location is highly regarded for its convenience to local amenities, friendly community, and proximity to walking routes and historical sites, making it an ideal base for exploration.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a particularly comfy bed and a conservatory that provides a pleasant daytime retreat, despite some furnishings being described as tired.
The property is well-equipped with a great selection of DVDs, books, and games. However, the need for a shower head replacement and a scheduled bathroom refurbishment suggests some maintenance issues.
There is no mention of gifts or additional thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

We've loved our time here. The cottage has everything needed for a comfy and relaxed stay. Couldn't ask for more. The location was just what we were hoping. In a village within easy walking distance of pubs, a good mix of shops, and cafés. Extremely friendly locals made it all the better too. Also, a picturesque village with the Castle, Church, Ford, Almshouse, and old Bridge. A nice place to explore. We had rain most of the week, the cottage was so nice though and with a great selection of dvds, books and games, that we were very happy to stay in and relax. The conservatory made a great place to sit in the daytime. Bed very comfy. Parking was easy too, further along the street. Couldn't fault it.
