A traditional end-terrace cottage, part of which dates back to the 1650s, ideally located on the outskirts of the ancient town of Clun, over the road from St. Georges Church, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The owner's personal touches are evident throughout the cottage, which combines the comforts of modern day living with many original features, including wall and ceiling beams and a stone fireplace. The main entrance hall provides space for bike, boot and outdoor equipment storage. Enter the handmade wooden kitchen, which is very well equipped including a Tassimo coffee machine, and dining area, ideal for relaxing with friends over a lazy Sunday lunch.
The sitting room next door boasts reclining leather sofas and an original fireplace housing a Clearview woodburning stove, perfect for cosy evenings. The three first floor bedrooms have original wall beams and lovely views across the surrounding fields to the woodland beyond. Outside is an enclosed garden with a patio area, perfect for enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the countryside whilst dining alfresco or relaxing with a good book. The pretty town of Clun has many amenities, including two good pubs, a family butcher and a village store, as well as offering many lovely walks, with the Jack Mytton Way and Shropshire Way running through the village and the Offa's Dyke Path also close by.

The locals are so friendly with 2 pubs and a tearoom and spar shop which we visited them all daily. We visited ludlow, church Stretton, bishops castle , Knighton all fantastic and beautiful with super friendly shops walks all dog friendly. The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful with everything you need and more he pictures really donât do it justice. The comfy sofas large wood burner super comfy beds and a lovely welcome pack and spotlessly clean in a lovely quiet location absolute perfection. The decor is gorgeous lovely little touches everywhere. We would highly recommend and would love to return in the future.
