Down the hall, each of the three bedrooms mirror each other with double beds, en-suite wet room facilities and a charming woodland theme. Finished to a high standard of quality with sleek modern tiles, plush fixtures and furnishings, this delightful setup is just what you need after an adventurous afternoon exploring the larger towns of the region. Enjoy the sunny decking and allow yourself to fully relax and unwind with a cool beverage, the French doors lead from the lounge, which can been thrown open during the warmer season bringing the outside in. This location is ideal for the walkers among you, with the famous Rodney’s Pillar right on the doorstep. The Breidden Hills also offer a fabulous region for walking with with wonderful views of Shropshire and Wales from the top. Shrewsbury and Oswestry are equidistant from Big Bear Lodge, offering shops, pubs and timber framed buildings. Further afield is Snowdonia National Park and Shropshire Hills AONB. This superb retreat offers something for everyone.
Located where the Rivers Severn and Vyrnwy meet, near the Shropshire/Powys border, is Melverley. Boasting a quality pub with restaurant, a 15th century timber framed church and excellent fishing and walking, this village is ideal for a relaxing country retreat. Shrewsbury, with its timber framed buildings, excellent pubs, restaurants shops, theatre and riverside walks, rests nearby, along with Ellesmere and Oswestry.
