3 Oaks Lodge is a detached cottage settled in the quiet hamlet of Pulverbatch, Shropshire. Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this inviting base is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists looking to explore this region of Shropshire. After a day of traversing the local hills, put your feet up in the lounge, featuring a woodburning stove to keep you warm, a 65" Smart TV with Wi-Fi for your entertainment, and a plush sofa to sink into. The kitchen/diner offers all the amenities you need for a stress-free stay, including an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. For added convenience, there is a utility with a washer/dryer. As you look to get some rest, travel upstairs, where you will find a king-size and a twin room serviced by a shower room. Outside, you can enjoy a peaceful morning coffee or an evening barbecue with friends and family on the patio, complete with outdoor furniture. Take a stroll in the hamlet of Pulverbatch where you can experience the local way of life, visit the pub for an ice-cold pint or two, or discover the village’s historic Castle. Discover the nearby towns of Church Streeton and Ludlow, home to a variety of shops and restaurants. Be sure to explore the unspoilt Shropshire Hills AONB, a stunning area of outstanding natural beauty that is the perfect place for walkers and nature lovers. The scattered parish of Pulverbatch quietly rests amidst lovely countryside and is home to a great pub "The White Horse Inn" serving excellent meals from Thursday - Sunday. A mecca for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers alike, the area abounds in miles of beautiful country walks, including the opportunity to explore the site of a former moated castle, offering stunning views over Cothercott Hill and The Devils Chair, situated at the nearby Stiperstones Nature Reserve. There is a fantastic community run local village shop in Longden which is open everyday and is just 3.2 miles. There are 6 pubs within 5 miles of 3 Oaks Lodge; The Bottle and Glass (2.6 miles), The Bridges (4.2 miles), The Mytton Arms (2.3 miles), The Red Lion Inn (1.9 miles), The Tankerville Cafe and Bar (3.2 miles) and The White Horse Inn (0.2 miles). With the attractions of medieval Shrewsbury just a 22 minute drive with its wonderful Tudor buildings, excellent shops, pubs, restaurants and riverside walks. There is a fascinating Gorge at Ironbridge lying within easy touring distance, this superb holiday location has plenty to offer at any time of year. The picturesque market town of Church Stretton, often described as Little Switzerland, is just 10 miles away, whilst a little further afield is the Acton Scott Historical Working Farm, providing something for all the family. The "foodie haven" of Ludlow can be reached by car within less than 1 hour.
