The national cycle route 81 is close by, and within a five-minute drive lies Nesscliffe Hills and the Cliffe Countryside Heritage Site. Home to a 70-hectare area of mixed woodland and heathland to explore; that’s about the size of 140 football pitches! There is a wealth of historical features and wildlife on the site and an extensive network of paths to explore. Ten miles away is Shrewsbury, full of finds to be discovered by foot or by boat, the café culture, farmer’s market, the castle and the churches that dominate Shrewsbury’s famous skyline are a must see. Oswestry, where Shropshire meets Wales and only 11 miles away. It’s an ancient Shropshire market town, so close to Wales that you can enjoy exploring both sides of the border. We had a lovely stay here for a break away. The barn is very modern and clean and has all the equipment you could need. We stayed in the recent heat wave and the barn was warm but well equipped with fans. The hot-tub was a lovely touch - only thing to note is that it is quite open to the campsites showering area, meaning it’s not very private when that gets busy.(Just to be aware if you prefer lots of privacy)Nonetheless we had a brilliant stay here and would return! Brilliant hosts who are happy to help in any way.

Placed us in the area we wanted to be, handy for Oswestry and Shrewsbury. The cottage was peaceful and very well presented. I would return without hesitation and the host was friendly but not intrusive. KCould maybe do with a fan?

Had a lovely Christmas at this gorgeous barn. Very well equipped and lacked nothing. The hot tub was very well used and was very relaxing. Would certainly recommend the property, couldn't fault a thing.
