A great countryside cottage to escape to! The kitchen was very well equipped which was really useful as we did make meals. We made the most of the log burner and got that glowing cozy feel every night. This supplemented the pleasant underfloor heating. The hosts gave detailed pre-arrival info that was very helpful and were on hand if needed.I'd certainly recommend this cottage and would book again if staying in the area.

This cottage is spacious and top-of-the-range inside and out. You can wallow in the huge, comfy, leather sofa in front of the logburner, or you can sit outside and enjoy the view and the fresh air.The whole place has been put together by someone with an eye for detail, and with a gift for creating an aesthetic space. Not twee - just some nice stuff to create an ambience. Somebody even filled the birdfeeders every day.Walk out the door and in under an hour you are up on the Stiperstones ridge. Easy walking on narrow, traffic-free lanes and paths. The whole area was very quiet and criss-crossed with walking trails. The local pub is a five minute drive and had fabulous food and beer. All very welcoming and all very dog-friendly. Stone flooring, so take your slippers.
