The Greatest Showman is a unique 1950 Circus Caravan situated in the heart of Ipstones, Staffordshire. Perfect for families or friends, this charming retreat offers countryside walks, farm animal encounters, and holistic treatments. Enjoy fresh produce and unwind in this delightful setting, with parking and a well-behaved dog welcome. Park the car and make your way to your new Greatest Showman themed caravan, from the outside there is lovely views of cows in the field, head towards this vibrant blue caravan and enter. Upon entering this single-storey abode, you will be greeted by the open-plan living area, a social hub, complete with a functional kitchen where you can prepare home-cooked meals on the gas stove. Dine alfresco with views of the countryside field with cows, or pull up a bar stool and enjoy a quick bite or a morning coffee. The ambience is quaint and warm with circus themed furnishings. After a day of exploring, retreat to the sitting area where a woodburning stove awaits to warm you on cooler evenings. Here, you can indulge in a selection of games or wrap up in a blanket as you plan your adventures ahead. When your eyes get weary, there are two inviting bedrooms; the first a double boasting picturesque views of the surrounding countryside and cows, and the second is in the open-plan space featuring a double sofa bed. Freshen up in the compact shower room, equipped with a walk-in shower. There is an eco-composting WC available nearby, offering an eco-friendly alternative. Step outside to discover a charming garden, complete with furniture for alfresco dining, a barbecue for summer feasts, and a fire pit for those cooler evenings. Whether you're toasting marshmallows under the stars or enjoying a morning coffee with the sunrise, this outdoor space is sure to be a favourite spot during your stay. During your stay, enjoy peaceful countryside walks with beautiful views, including a scenic route along the Churnet River. Guests can take part in feeding the animals and learning about life on a working farm - an engaging experience for all ages. For those seeking relaxation, a variety of holistic treatments such as massage, reflexology, and Reiki are available in the tranquil Shroom Room. The farm also offers a selection of fresh produce for purchase, including eggs and home-reared meats like sausages, burgers, and kebabs, all lovingly produced onsite. In the evening, return to The Greatest Showman to relax and unwind, ready for another adventure-filled day in the heart of Staffordshire. The attractive rural village of Ipstones lies on the western fringes of the Peak District in lovely moorland countryside, between the market towns of Leek and Ashbourne. The village offers a post office, village shop and pubs serving food. The surrounding countryside is excellent for walking with miles of woodland trails and moorland hikes to enjoy. Dovedale and the limestone Churnet Valley are on the doorstep and The Manifold Trail is close by. There is easy access to many of the area's attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park (NT) as seen in TV’s Pride & Prejudice, the NT Ilam Estate or Peak Wildlife Park. A great touring base for all the Peak District - and Alton Towers is just a 10 minute drive away.
