Lovely property, spacious and comfortable. Comfy beds and a good shower. When we had an issue with the basin in the bathroom I called the number provided for the numbers and Matt turned up quickly and sorted the issue out.I think the property description, whilst it does mention steps, should say these have to be navigated to get into the cottage.

The description of this property is misleading. It should be flagged as completely unsuitable for people with mobility difficulties. Although the description does mention 'steps and steep drops' in the garden it completely fails to mention the fact that access to the property is via a passageway with 16 uneven and in some cases badly worn steps. The 'nearby car parks' are all at the bottom of the hill: we didn't have a problem parking on the street but it is a fairly busy road. The owners' directions on how to get there failed to mention the fact that the only sign of the property visible from the street is a tiny number '28' above an archway leading to the aforementioned passageway. We drove past three times without spotting it and eventually had to park and look for it on foot.Inside the cottage, the kitchen is very poorly designed. It's small and awkwardly shaped, but was it really necessary to put the fridge freezer right next to the oven? In any case, as access to the freezer door is blocked by the extremely large, heavy dining table, we were unable to use it and it might just as well not have been there. The kitchen is also poorly equipped: there was a knife block with three large knives in it but no smaller vegetable knives and no potato peeler: a full set of saucepans and two frying pans, but no colander or sieve. The wooden floors look nice, but the rugs are a trip hazard and several of us slipped on them. The fake fur throws on the kitchen bench - why? They look great until you try to sit on them. Then they slide off. If you're lucky you won't slide off with them. There were ornaments and (plastic) plants everywhere, many of which had to be moved out of reach of the dog in case of accidents. The living room smelled damp, which is quite an achievement in a heatwave. The bathroom lock was broken, which to be fair the owners apologised for in advance, and the door latch in one of the bedrooms catches on the light switch, such that the door cannot be opened if the light is on. In short, we would have preferred more kitchen equipment and fewer plastic plants. However, if we had known in advance just how inaccessible the entrance to the property is, we wouldn't have booked it at all.
