About this property

A delightful annex attached to the owner’s home, on a rural smallholding in the peaceful Worcestershire countryside. Sat in an idyllic position amidst the rolling fields and pastures, this charming cottage is perfect for a family or couples looking to explore Worcestershire. Step inside and you are greeted by an inviting living room with dining area where you can relax once the sun has gone down and sit back on the comfortable sofas in front of the TV. Across the hall you have a well-equipped country style kitchen with a breakfast bar, the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee as you plan your day. Muddy paws can be dried off in the utility room located to the rear of the kitchen, and can also be accessed by the back door. The ground floor accommodation is completed by a twin bedroom, which can be a king-size double if required, and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, you have a quiet reading area on the landing and a generous master bedroom boasting a king-size sleigh bed with velux windows looking out onto the verdant countryside, and a modern en-suite shower room. Outside Daisy Cottage you have a lawned garden overlooking the surrounding fields where you might even spot deer or sheep. On warmer evenings, dine alfresco and enjoy a glass of wine as the children play. There are various public footpaths which actually start from the cottage which makes it ideal for walkers. There is a local pub called the Fox Pub which is a micro brewery for various ales as well as another pub a few yards down the road from the fox called the tally ho, which serves food. The village of St Hanley makes an excellent base for a holiday in the Worcestershire countryside, with popular walks and bridleways such as the Worcestershire Way and Three Rivers Ride nearby. The market town of Tenbury Wells is within easy reach and home to unique listed buildings, cafes, shops and festivals. Alternatively, spend a day strolling through Leominster or the historic market town of Ludlow. A superb cottage which can be enjoyed throughout the year.

The village of Hanley William is surrounded by beautiful Worcestershire countryside, with an abundance of walks and bridleways with the Worcestershire Way and Three Rivers Ride close by. The village of Eastham is just a mile away and is home to Grabbed by the Alpacas, where you can enjoy an alpaca trekking experience. Just five miles away, Tenbury Wells is situated on the banks of the River Teme, boasting a unique 18th century bridge built by Thomas Telford, the Pump Rooms, which housed baths where local mineral water was available, and many other listed buildings dating back to the 17th century. This town has many individual shops, cafés and tea rooms and plays host to numerous festivals throughout the year, notably the Applefest in October and Holly and Mistletoe around Christmas. Renowned for its shopping, Ludlow also has high quality restaurants, excellent tea shops and pubs. The Wyre Forest is home to a vast array of wildlife, including woodland birds, flora, fauna, moths and adders, as well as many walks, cycle routes, horse riding and a discovery centre. Also within easy reach is Church Stretton, known as Little Switzerland, the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, Leominster, Hereford, the beautiful Malvern Hills, as well as the Severn Valley Railway, Berrington Hall and Hay-on-Wye, famous for its annual Literary Festival in May/June.
