When I telephoned before arrival I was informed that we could access the property earlier than expected which was very helpful after a long journey. Everything was very clean and plenty of utensils available so we didn’t have to keep putting the dishwasher on! The only thing which was missing was an empty cupboard in the kitchen to store food - but that is the price for having plenty of pots, pans and crockery so we happily managed! Hosts checked all ok whenever they saw us which was nice but at the same time unobtrusive. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Everything we expected ! Fantastic! A beautiful cottage, excellent location and facilities. Everything so clean, beautifully presented and the comfiest big beds ever! Would definitely recommend! We have to say a huge thank you to Paul and Jude the owners! We had a bit of a family crisis while we were staying at the Milking Parlour. But they were so understanding and so helpful, couldn’t have asked for more! Can’t thank them enough!

If you like peace and quiet you will love The Milking Parlour. The property is comfortable, warm and cosy and with everything you could possibly need for your stay. It is really roomy for four people and has a lovely patio and small grassed area which is totally secure for dogs and with a relaxing view. Nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, remote controlled Velux window and the shower/wet rooms are to die for with good power and always plenty of hot water. The 2nd bedroom is slightly smaller and only has the roof window to open so may feel a little claustrophobic if you like to sleep with the door closed. No pub or shop in the village but it's only about a mile to the closest amenities and there are a variety of lovely walks nearby for dog walkers or hikers. The duvets and a couple of pillows could do with refreshing but otherwise the cottage was spotlessly clean and very well presented. The owners are friendly and on-hand should you need them. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Milking Parlour and look forward to returning one day.
