Spacious, clean, well-equipped accommodation. Quiet location although a little tricky to locate in the dark! Lovely private veranda/ balcony overlooking the canal, one with hot-tub. Supermarkets available in nearby Brighouse, eateries in Brighouse and Elland - nothing immediate within easy walking distance. There didn't seem to be programmed central heating in the property, each room with a plug-in electric heater. If back in the area, would stay again. We used this as a base to visit Yorkshire Sculpture Park (half-hour drive away).

Loved absolutely everything about the accommodation except the drain smell which was worse in the downstairs bedrooms. A very relaxing getaway despite Storm Amy! The log burner was a lovely addition to our stay.

Had an incredible time at Lodge 6, there were 6 adults and our pups came along too!Lodge was very clean, had everything you could possibly think of like utensils etc. The hot tub was regularly checked for pH levels. The interior is very modern and towels provided was brilliant as we forgot ours! Lovely walks nearby and takeaways available to deliver directly to the lodge! Loved that the lodge was gated so our pups didn’t try and escape and also that the area is quiet enough for them to let off some steam. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends; we’re hoping to book again for a little escape!
