Pause at the breakfast bar while it roasts then lay the impressive table through in the dining room. The lounge/diner is also a great space to gather to play pool or watch the Smart TV in the comforting glow of the wood burner, which is set between the two areas. Alternatively, retreat to the snug to watch something else, read quietly or play on the games console. When you have finished having fun together and are ready to turn in, make your way up to the first floor of the house. Here you will find two super-king-sizes, a twin and two king-sizes, one of which has an en-suite shower room. There are also two lovely family bathrooms, one with a freestanding bath. Wander out into the sunshine to enjoy the outside space at this farmhouse. Luxuriate in the outdoor bath, which can be used either as a steaming hot jet tub or a bracing cold water plunge. There is ample parking at the property.
Plan a trip out to Shibden Hall, 5.5 miles away, which was once home to Anne Lister, who inspired the popular BBC series Gentleman Jack. Visit Ogden Water Country Park, 8 miles away, with its woodland walks and nature trails.
