Full use of club house and restaurant with fully equipped state-of-the-art gymnasium. 18-hole golf driving range and 9-hole pitch & putt at cost with 25% discount on green fees. Private parking 5-10 yards away. No smoking.. Peace and tranquillity are the order of the day at Bridlington Links, where the hustle and bustle of everyday life can be left behind. This detached, single-storey Canadian log cabin is set amidst mature woodland in the grounds of a glorious 18-hole cliff top golf course. As well as the on-site golf course there is another nearby at Flamborough. Exquisite food and wines can be enjoyed in the a la carte restaurant, or guests can take in the panoramic views from the club house verandah. Fairways Lodge is next to Sewerby Hall which has beautiful gardens and grounds, a little zoo and lovely cafe as well as access to the headland walk to Flamborough and Bridlington. Passes are provided for guests’ at the lodge which give free access to the hall and a discount in the cafe. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to get WiFi at the premises but it can be accessed at the the clubhouse. Adjacent to Bridlington’s historic harbour, with some of the most captivating scenery around, this is the perfect holiday location at any time of year. Beach 4 miles. Shops 1½ miles, pub and restaurant on site.

We had an enjoyable few days. The lodge was warm, well equipped and in a good location. Plenty of storage and the bed was very comfortable.Things which could be made even better include a deep clean of the oven and new roasting tins, defrosting the freezer and cleaning the blinds and skirting boards. The TV also had a mind of it's own, it would turn on in the night if not turned off on the Tv itself and it would regularly want to power down during programmes. There was also no wifi available.

We were really impressed with Fairways Lodge. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The Lodge was very clean and there were cleaning supplies available. The beds were amazing, quality mattresses and soooo comfortable (wasn't impressed with the pillows but my fault for not taking my own!)It was a short walk to Sewerby Hall and passes were provided for the Hall and Zoo including a discount at the Cafe. I've marked down comfort and equipment- the knives were blunt, there was a steel but couldn't do much with them. I would take my own.- could have done with a couple of foot stools for the sofas- the TV - OMG - it switched itself on again overnight and changed channels. We searched and could find no timers set, no reminders, couldn't work out how to switch off totally. We ended up switching the volume down so it didn't wake us up. If it were a spook it was friendly because the dog wasn't at all bothered by it. - no WiFi (which was available at a couple of other lodges apparently) but we didn't find this a problem as our mobile data worked well enough. Overall - we'd highly recommend.
