Guests say

Jackdaw House is a well-received holiday cottage in Bridlington, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location in the old town. Guests appreciate the spaciousness, the conservatory, and the dog-friendly environment. The property is noted for its homely feel and thoughtful touches, such as a welcome package during festive seasons.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and tidy, with one review highlighting it as spotless from top to bottom, indicating a high standard of cleanliness.

The location is frequently praised for its excellent positioning in the old town, with easy access to local amenities, restaurants, and dog-friendly parks, making it a desirable spot for visitors.

Comfort is a strong point for Jackdaw House, with multiple reviews mentioning comfy beds and a pleasant conservatory to relax in. The property is also described as cosy and warm, contributing to a comfortable stay.

While the house is generally well-equipped, some guests suggested improvements such as hooks for towels, instructions for appliances, and larger teaspoons. These minor niggles slightly affect the facilities score.

The property owners show thoughtfulness by providing a welcome package and festive decorations during Christmas. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this is a considerate but not consistent feature.

Spacious holiday home most things needed for our stay we would have appreciated somewhere to hang out coats downstairs also a radio would be a nice addition as would a clock in the sitting room and bedrooms also bigger teaspoons as my daughter likes a lot of coffee in her mug and for boiled eggs for breakfast.beds were comfortable and clean. Instructions for TV microwave and shower as we had a few niggles with these .We found the welcome book in the magazine rack. thought it would be better on the table on arrival.A visit to Gordon next door is a must what a lovely gentleman looks well for his age .A visit to Jackson chip shop is a must .Good location for areas around to visit with your dog .As we don't go to pubs we can't comment.

The location is excellent with the old town just round the corner with restaurants and plenty of eating venues.the accommodation was very spacious and Lilly the dog did not want to come home.everything is catered for at jackdaw house. A well equipped quite modern house in a central location for the old town. I liked the photos showing the area including the buildings from before the houses were built in 1994. The conservatory was very pleasant to sit in. The good quality dog bed was appreciated by our dog as was the excellent quality of bed for ourselves!. The pub opposite was the best pub in the area too. There are several pubs within easy walking distance and a park quite close for the dog walking. The free car park at the back was handy when the space at the front was full.
