Guests say

Jackdaw House is a well-received holiday cottage in Bridlington, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the spaciousness, cosy conservatory, and the inclusion of a welcome package. The property is dog-friendly, with a good quality dog bed and proximity to dog-walking areas. Recommendations include local eateries and a visit to the neighbour, Gordon.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and tidy, with one review highlighting it as 'spotless from top to bottom'. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is frequently praised for its convenience to the old town, restaurants, and pubs. The availability of a free car park is also appreciated, although dining options for guests with dogs are limited.

Comfort is a strong point, with multiple reviews mentioning 'comfortable beds' and a 'cosy and warm' atmosphere. The conservatory is noted as a relaxing space, adding to the overall comfort of the property.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and good quality dog bed. However, some guests suggest improvements such as hooks for towels, instructions for appliances, and a dishwasher, indicating room for enhancement.

The property's thoughtfulness is reflected in the provision of a welcome package, which includes wine and bakery items, and a festive touch with a Christmas tree. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, guests should consider this a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

Jackdaw House is a gem. Very clean, very neat, it felt newly decorated. We could park right outside the front door; I don't think the space was designated as ours, so we got lucky maybe. There's a free car park just 50 yards away if you're not lucky. It's in the Bridlington Old Town, with its great range of odd shops. It's right opposite a pub, but we never heard any noise from it. Lots of comfortable seating and space for 4 adults, with a large lounge and decent conservatory; the kitchen/dining room is compact but big enough to cook and eat in. The kitchen appliances all looked newish and worked well. There's a small rear paved sloped garden with more chairs. Jackdaw House even permits (and encourages) visitors to bring their pets! The bedrooms were quite large, with lots of storage and comfy beds. The only negatives were tiny, but worth knowing: there's no dishwasher, not much cutlery (4 sets), and just one toilet in the bathroom, upstairs. I did say they were tiny! We would definitely stay there again, delightful.
