Guests say

Kittiwake House in Bridlington is praised for its spaciousness, excellent location, and suitability for families and dog owners, with easy access to scenic walks and local attractions. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. While the property is generally clean and welcoming, some reviews mention that it is becoming a little tired and could benefit from updates and more thorough maintenance. Occasional issues with heating and intrusive maintenance visits were noted, but these did not overshadow the overall positive experience.

Guests found towels and linens clean and soft, and the property easy to keep tidy, especially for those with dogs. However, some noted only basic cleaning between lets and the presence of cobwebs, suggesting room for improvement.

The location is consistently highlighted as fantastic, with direct access to walks, the headland, and nearby attractions, making it ideal for families and those seeking outdoor activities.

The cottage is described as spacious and beds are comfortable. Some guests found the lounge seating too low for those with mobility issues, and there were occasional problems with heating, but overall comfort was good.

The kitchen is well equipped and the property offers ample space. However, guests noted that furnishings and maintenance could be improved, with some issues such as outdated décor, light bulbs needing replacement, and heating problems.

There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

Went OK after three days of freezing and getting wrapped up with quilts heating wasn't working owner's tried there best to put it right..in end after speaking to the owner and asking her to bring us some plug in radiators to keep us warm in the living area she went out and bought some. then electrician was in checking yearly checks which we found intrusive then learnt fire service was coming in to pass safty checks 😡 felt this could have been done while no one was renting the cottage but we stuck with it for the kids holiday....I felt after the inconvenience the owner could have offered us maybe a weekend for nothing but nothing was offered...

Had a great week at Kittiwake house with my 2 granddaughters, niece, and her 2 children. The place is a great size with 4 bedrooms (2 ensuite),and the location is fantastic.Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is lovely and great for people wanting to relax or go for walks etc. This is the third time I have been. The property is becoming tired, the lounge seating is not ideal if you have mobility issues as it is very low. The cleaning done between lets appears to be basic, but the towels and linens provided are clean and soft.
