The city brims with classic seaside charm, from amusement arcades to tea rooms, bars, and the traditional fish and chip shops that line the promenade. Couldn't get in the lodge due to fault with keypad. We reported a loose toilet seat on the Monday but never got fixed even 5 days later on the Saturday when we were going back home.

Lodge was well-equipped, spotlessly clean and in an excellent location. The decking around the lodge and outdoor furniture was perfect for us and our three grandchildren. The site had everything we wanted, including a field for the children to play on. It is in a good position, approx. 10 minutes drive to a large, sandy beach with ample parking. There was a problem with a leak on our boiler while we were there which we reported straight away, it was dealt with very quickly and efficiently in just over an hour. No complaints whatsoever.
