The property benefits from ample off road parking, enclosed mature rear garden with summer house, orchard and large pet friendly patio with additional seating. Inside you will find a large family kitchen complete with quartz worktops, belfast sink and a gas range. There is a breakfast bar and additional comfortable seating area where you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the chef in the group cook up a delicious home cooked meal. The dining room with exposed beams sits next door and offers plenty of seating for everyone. Relax on an evening in the spacious living room with Smart TV. Disney Plus and Netflix have been provided for your entertainment. The modern wall-mounted electric fire will keep the chill away during the cooler winter months. A ground floor bedroom, ideal for those who can’t manage the stairs, has a super kingsize zip and link bed and sits to the front of the property. The private pool leads off from the kitchen and also provides a shower room for showering before taking a dip. French doors lead to the sun room which offers large sets of bi-fold doors leading out to the garden, a full length bar with seating and optics for your favourite holiday tipple as well as comfortable seating and a Smart TV. The stately homes of Sewerby Hall, Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House are waiting to be explored. Wander through Danes Dyke Nature Reserve or visit the charming Bondville Model Village. Please be aware that visitors must shower after being in the pool as the chlorine will bleach the carpets - any damage will be charged for.
The Heaters are on 8.00 am - 8.00 pm, and due to the extreme low overnight temperatures during the winter months, the water is taking longer to heat up in the pool and the temperature cannot be guaranteed in the mornings.
Swimming pool temperature is set at 30 degrees.

10 of us stayed at Northstead Lodge for a 60th birthday celebration, ranging from 4 months old to 65 and there was more than enough space for us all, cots and high chairs were provided, rooms set up how we wished and James the host was very helpful! Met us on arrival and was only on the end of a message when we needed him! The pool dropped in temperature and he came straight away to sort it. A gorgeous home in a lovely area, would definitely recommend. The en-suite bathrooms would benefit from having the shower fittings on the wall for easiness but can’t fault the place or the hosts - thank you!

James (the owner) welcomed us with open arms and described everything we needed from the heating to the pool instructions. Although he sets the heating to a standard, we were allowed to turn the radiators down if we needed to or open the windows if it was too hot. Excellent way of doing things dispite some negatives that some people had decided to write. The pool too was kept at a very comfortable temperature with only one main rule which was that we couldn't use it between 8:00pm to 8:00am as this is when it does a 'deep clean' which we had no issue with. The premises is on the outskirts of Flamborough which was great for us as it was quiet but I could see that for some they may say it is out of the way? Saying that, Flamborough village is a short 10 minute walk and has things such as post office, Coop, pubs, butchers and other shops. We would really recommend the Viking Pub which isn't too far away from the property on the road towards North Landing as the food is excellent! While we are on food, please check out teh Pie Bald Inn which is in Hummanby. Please book as they have 52 pies to choose from! North Landing is certainlay worth a look as this is where the latest Dads Army was filmed and Bempton Cliffs doubled up as the White Cliffs of Dover! Victoria has also been filmed there along with many other TV series. Very picturesque! The Cottage is well equipped, parking is ample and the rooms were both clean and comfortable although I must say that my bed was a bit 'tired' and could do with being updated? although everyone else said they had a good night sleep. I think my supa-dupa orthopaedic bed at home as spoit me so it may have been my own expectations so don't let this put you off! If you have any questions then by all means ask but we would certainly recommend this property and are already looking to when we could go back!

We had a lovely week away with the family at Northstead Lodge. The house worked well for us and the grandchildren loved the pool. There was lots of days out to be had locally. We found the house to be clean and comfortable. James was at the end of the phone and quickly sorted the only minor issue we had all week.
