This flat is in a great location, I was a bit wary about coming due to the recent reviews about cleanliness and I was very pleasantly surprisedThe flat is very spacious for a family of fourEverything is in walking distance shops and beach I did not need to take the car out at all during the weekRental cost for the week was really goodOnly recommendation is drive slowly when driving through archway and reverse in to the space after boot is emptied of suitcases

Disappointed! The apartment is in desperate need of some attention. A review from a month ago and still exposed wires upstairs. The bedroom with the single beds the light switch is practically hanging off the wall. The stair carpet is loose. The carpet under the main bed looked like it hadn't seen a hoover for months. Downstairs the sofa was covered in dog hair, a dog chew was under one of the chairs. The washing machine was black inside the rubber seal and the drawer was just as bad. The cups in the kitchen were awful. We went to the shops to buy washing up liquid and Sponges to clean them before we could use them. The cooker had a dirty frying pan and tray in it! And then the shower hose was broken on our arrival. The metal covering was all damaged and sharp and exposing the rubber underneath. I messaged the owner to make him aware and he said he would try and sort it. We were there 4 days and it was never sorted!

The apartment was quite dirty and not safe for children. Fireplace had broken glass that hadn’t been fixed and the sofa were really dirty. There is exposed wiring upstairs and a shelf in the lounge that wasn’t secured properly. The whole apartment needs to be cleaned and decorated. Someone should really do inspections before hiring out accommodations on cottages.com.
