Burton Fleming 2.5 miles. A lovely detached barn conversion, set on the owner's smallholding, in a peaceful, rural location, near to the pretty village of Burton Fleming. Beautifully converted with superb attention to detail, this cottage near Filey provides a fabulous base from which to explore the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds and the nearby seaside resorts of Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough. This cottage near Bridlington has upside down accommodation with an open plan living space on the first floor, to take in the views over open countryside. This spacious area has an airy feel with a pitched ceiling, exposed timbers and a modern kitchen. Downstairs are two well-presented bedrooms with modern fittings and a contemporary shower room. With the added benefit of a warming woodburning stove in the sitting room, perfect for sitting around on cooler evenings, this cottage provides a very comfortable holiday home. There is plenty to do from this Yorkshire cottage, from the walks and cycle trails within the Yorkshire Wolds, to quaint villages and nearby market towns, such as Driffield and Beverley, whilst a short drive to Hunmanby brings you to a full range of amenities. The charming town of Filey, only seven miles away, is well worth visiting, with its long, safe, sandy beaches and two promenades it's a little like stepping back in time here, with its coloured beach huts, donkey rides and candy floss!
