For those who enjoy history and culture, Burton Agnes Hall which dates back to 1173 is a majestic mansion and a must-visit, while the market town of Driffield offers an array of shops and eateries. Beach lovers can explore Fraisthorpe Beach, where a scenic coastal walk leads to Bridlington. RSPB Bempton Cliffs is close by and there is also a choice of golf courses. Beautiful little get away. Perfect for a romantic weekend. Plenty of stuff to do with a short drive. And lovely local walks in the village. There’s no shop in the village but the closest one is only a 15minute drive so it wasn’t an issue. Would recommend bringing your own pillows and an extra loo roll for added comfort but the cabins are well supplied and very clean.

The site is lovely, and all facilities brilliant. Had a wonderful time. Everything you need is at hand, even the logs, kindling and matches for the fire pit. The hot tub is wonderful and everything is private. We had a lovely peaceful break. There were a couple of rain showers, but we just played pool and table tennis in the games room. Cannot fault this lovely get away destination.
