Next to the ground-floor bedroom is a kitchen/diner, a spacious area with ample seating for the whole family to sit together over lunch and concoct a plan of action for the day ahead. Once you are ready for the day, six of you upstairs and two down, gather on the sofas in the sitting room and flick through the tourist information leaflets to decide on your plan of action, whether this be a beach day, seeking tourist attractions or a drink at the pub, Hornsea offers it all. Start your venture in the town itself, at the centre of the action no matter which way you walk up the street you’ll find something to do in the local area, we recommend heading to the coast and taking in the breath-taking scenery, with the famous landmark of the Trans Pennine Trail Gateway, it’s the perfect opportunity to walk the dog and get to know your surroundings, not forgetting to grab some fish and chips on your way up. For even more luscious land, head further afield to the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast, with two golf clubs, the RSPB Bempton Cliffs Seabird Centre, and lots of lovely coastal eateries, it’s a lovely place to spend a day out on the coast of Yorkshire.
