This lovely cottage offers all ground floor accommodation, with two attractive bedrooms and a family bathroom with a separate bath and shower. The open-plan living area has a lovely homely feel, with a modern kitchen, a dining area and a cosy sitting area with comfortable seating and a gas woodburner-effect stove. With an oak floor, it retains much character and is a warm and inviting holiday home. The communal grounds are a joy to wander around, with sheltered corners, a private sunny garden and field for the children to play in. Hornsea has much to offer, including long sandy beaches, pretty floral gardens and a traditional promenade, and nearby, Hornsea Mere offers the chance for watersports. With a few minutes’ drive to the seaside and easy cycling and walking opportunities nearby, this cottage provides an excellent base for a wonderful holiday.
Hornsea is a coastal town in Yorkshire, south of Bridlington, within easy reach of the city of Hull. Also easily reached is the historic city of York, the beautiful Wolds and the North York Moors.
