A collection of six award winning holiday cottages (rated Five star Gold) with views across the Yorkshire Wolds just two miles from the vibrant market town of Beverley. PRICES RELATE TO A 2 BEDROOM COTTAGE. Cosy cottages to sleep two or four and larger barn conversions that sleep up to twelve, all have a private garden and free WIFI. An ideal self-catering base for visiting the areas many attractions and wildlife reserves – there are walks from the door with pubs and restaurants close by.

Broadgate Farm Cottages offer six award winning five star gold award holiday cottages that can accommodate between two and twelve guests. Set just two miles from the market town of Beverley in the Yorkshire Wolds, the cottages are open all year round for short or longer breaks and offer flexible accommodation with no fixed arrival day - you can start your break on any day that suits you!

You can choose from two, three, four or six bedroom cottages, some which have ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms, all with free Wi-Fi and Freesat HD television for your entertainment.

Each holiday cottage has been converted to a very high standard, giving each one a distinct character. All cottages afford their own private garden/patio area and sit on a nineteen acre farmstead of grass and woodland with lovely views across the fields where animals can be seen grazing. Each holiday home has been carefully and individually designed to provide high quality accommodation with both the leisure and business visitor in mind. All cottages hold the prestigious Gold Award and provide the perfect place from which to explore the areas many attractions or simply enjoy a relaxing holiday. Located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, where the Yorkshire Wolds meet Holderness, the area is a hidden tourist gem with plenty of interesting places to visit. There is so much to do, that you could stay for a month and find something different and enjoyable to do every day! The closest village of Walkington is just a mile away with its picturesque duck pond, local shop/post office and three welcoming pubs - you can stroll down into the village of an evening for a meal or drink.

Beverley is a delightful market town just two miles from the cottages and has much to offer with its great selection of pubs, restaurants, interesting shops and beautiful minster. On the outskirts of the town is Beverley Westwood, a large open common where cattle can be seen grazing and the home to Beverley Racecourse - a popular attraction and top venue for racegoers.

The cottages are also conveniently located for visiting: the City of Hull, rich in maritime heritage offering a host of attractions; the city of York; East Yorkshire; the Yorkshire Wolds and Yorkshire coast which is within easy reach and provides Blue Flag beaches and good opportunities for bird watchers.

Broadgate Farm Holiday Cottages have been created from farm buildings and period barns and have been lovingly converted into fantastic self-catering holiday accommodation that is ideal for couples, families or friends. All cottages provide a perfect mix of modern comforts with the character of a bygone era.

Foldyard Cottage, The Stables and The Forge each sleep four to five guests in two bedrooms. The Barn House sleeps eight in four bedrooms, the Cart House sleeps nine in four bedrooms and The Granary sleeps six in three bedrooms. All have space for a cot and some have the option of an additional put up bed. Foldyard and the Barn House can be linked together to form High Barn offering six bedrooms.

All interiors have been individually designed using lovely natural materials, quality furnishings, classical colours and luxurious fabrics. The cottages have well appointed kitchens with dishwashers, fridge freezers, gas hobs, electric ovens, washing machines and microwaves.

Outside: Guests can take in the views across the fields or just sit back and relax in your own private garden/patio area whilst soaking up the atmosphere. Please remember that the owners have livestock on the farm, so gates must be kept closed and unfortunately it is not possible to use fireworks or Chinese lanterns on the farm. There is parking for two cars per cottage, located adjacent to the cottages and additional parking spaces can also be accommodated upon request.

Additional information: Welcome tray provided upon arrival. Bed linen, towels and tea towels included in the price along with electricity and heating. Most of the cottages have underfloor heating although the Forge and the Stables have radiators upstairs. All cottages, with the exception of the Barn House, have wood burning stoves. A maximum of two small well behaved dogs are welcome at a small charge of £30 or £40 per booking (rate depends upon cottage selected). Flexible changeover day offered and short breaks available all year with the exception of Christmas and New Year. Travel cots (exc bedding) and high chairs can be arranged if requested at the point of booking. There is fishing available closeby.

Group Bookings: Large groups of up to twenty six guests can be accommodated when cottages are rented together.
