We love the location of this lodge park within the East Riding of Yorkshire. With plenty of open space, fishing lakes and an enclosed dog friendly garden with hot tub; what’s not to love!.

This well-designed lodge features an open plan living area with deep filled sofas, a Smart TV, and an electric fire, creating a cosy atmosphere to relax in after days spent exploring the area. The stylish shaker-style kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, washing machine, and breakfast bar seating for four. Large feature windows fill the space with natural light. The two bedrooms, one kingsize and one super kingsize, each have en-suite bathrooms with a choice of bath or shower and doors leading out to the enclosed garden. Outside, enjoy a private hot tub.
Westfield Country Park is a well-maintained site offering a dedicated dog walk and scenic fishing lakes, with fishing available at an additional cost. Really enjoyed our weekend away, so peaceful and loved the wildlife around.The lodge was lovely, a couple of maintenance issues the shower over the bath leaked and unable to full the bath with tap so used the shower head. The grass had just been cut but not racked up so got brought back in to the lodge but nothing that it ruined it.Well equipped just needs some kitchen tongs.Details of dog walks would be great!!Overall a lovely time away, would live to come back.

Decent cottage let down by a few inconveniences. The on-site café was advertised online as doing pizza nights on Friday and Saturday, but it was closed both evenings. The cottage was not equipped with some basic hygiene products like hand soap or kitchen towels. There was tea, but no sugar or milk. Also no salt or pepper. When we arrived, the heating was completely off, which meant the cottage was extremely cold inside and took a few hours to warm up. The location itself was nice, but it would benefit from having a map to show where to take the dog for a walk.
