Step inside to find a light-filled, open-plan living area with a vaulted ceiling and a stunning galleried area. The interior design of this holiday home brings the outside in, with hints of teal and copper throughout. The kitchen is no exception offering a host of modern appliances. There is plenty of worktop space from which to prepare some delicious home-cooked recipes whilst the dining table sits close at hand.
Unwind during the evening on the deep sofa and tune into the Smart TV. Take the stairs on an evening up to the galleried floor where you will find a double bed complete with luxury soft furnishings. Numerous windows flood this bright and airy space with plenty of natural light. An en-suite shower room completes the accommodation. The Hive offers a private, enclosed courtyard, and the table and chairs are perfectly placed for an early morning coffee or perhaps an al fresco evening meal. End the day relaxing in the hot tub surrounded by bubbles and enjoy a spot of star gazing.
A short walk into the village you’ll find a well-stocked store and popular pub serving real ales and delicious home-cooked food. There is a village pub and Bistro, walking distance, and 4 pubs within a 3-mile radius offering great food and atmosphere. The city of Hull is easily accessible and is home to several free museums, art galleries, and The Deep Aquarium. For a little culture, enjoy an evening in one of the two theatres or dance the night away in one of the many clubs.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, this area is packed with opportunities from the Spurn Point National Nature Reserve to rspb Bempton Cliffs. The East Riding and The Yorkshire Wolds offer miles of walking and cycling opportunities, and there is also a great golf course close by. Mappleton, Barmston, Tunstall, and Hornsea beaches are close at hand as are the stately homes of Burton Constable and Burton Agnes. With racecourses at both Beverley and York, you are guaranteed an exciting holiday here. Lakes nearby for water activities.

The house itself was cozy, great atmosphere and hot tub was a lovely touch for extra luxury. There was a funky smell in the bathroom that we couldn’t quite pin point, and no cleaning equipment was left to try get rid of said smell. Hand wash also was near empty when we arrived but there was a spare under the kitchen sink. The guide at the place may need updating at the farm shop on the same road is now closed. Location was easy to find on apple maps and what 3 words, google takes you to the wrong place as proven by 2 takeaway delivery drivers on our stay. But all that being said, we loved being out in the middle of nowhere, in a cozy little place that felt like a home away from home. Not much to do close by but if you don’t mind a quick drive then you’ll have lots to do!
