It comprises six self-contained cottages laid out around a rustic, landscaped courtyard, creating a communal yet private retreat.
Each cottage is designed with open-plan living in mind: you’ll find a lounge/dining/kitchenette area fitted with a widescreen TV, an electric fire, and space to relax together. Bedrooms are double occupancy, and each cottage has its own modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. Cottage 3 includes a whirlpool bath along with a separate shower, and Cottage 6 features a whirlpool bath (though without a separate shower).
To support group dynamics and shared activities, Cottage 3 is fitted with a large group dining kitchen capable of seating all twelve guests — ideal for communal meals or celebrations. Cottage 5 adds a recreational twist, featuring a games lounge complete with a pool table and a projector.
At the heart of the courtyard is a shared outdoor hot tub. The cottages do not interconnect internally, preserving privacy for each unit even while being part of a larger group setting. In terms of setting, the Courtyard is just about 100 metres from the on-site fishing lake, giving guests convenient access to angling as part of their stay. As part of Westfield Country Park, the Courtyard shares in the park’s broader amenities: the park itself spans roughly 37 acres of landscaped countryside close to the East Yorkshire coastline, and offers a quiet, natural backdrop.

We had a fantastic stay with our family, thank you. Rooms were all lovely and the couple looking after the place were very happy to help. The cafe next door was great and did lovely pizzas and cakes.

Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday, a few negatives wi fi very poor, could do with more outdoor furnishings, there could be more kitchen equipment such as chopping boards, coasters for drinks and crockery.But don’t be put off by these small gripes

The courtyard lacked the maintenance needed .The hot tub wasn’t cleaned during the week we stayed. It wasn’t particularly clean when we arrived. This is a health issue. One of the microwaves didn’t work. Two of the showers didn’t work. The property smelt of drains. I spoke to the site manager explaining the things that needed looking st. But no one came round. I emailed the receptionist who spoke to owner and offered a 10% discount on sister site. As we had completed our stay there.It’s such a shame as the property would be ideal for family get together if it had more care.The fishing lakes and fields nearby are lovely and the cafe.
