Settled into the countryside village of Thornton-in-Lonsdale, with off-road parking, a nearby pub, shop and river and access to local walks, No 3 The Coach House is a fantastic barn conversion, beautifully restored to be an incredible base for a family looking to explore the Yorkshire Three Peaks and stunning scenery of North Yorkshire. Park off-road and make your way into a light and airy living/dining room, boasting contemporary furniture, full-length windows in the old barn door recesses and a relaxing atmosphere. Here guests can settle down with a coffee, warming their feet beside the woodburning stove in the cooler months, and enjoy a movie marathon, or indulge in a heart-warming meal at the dining table. The separate kitchen with tastefully fitted furniture and white worktops boasts many amenities, ideal for cooking up a storm, including a wine cooler, to cater to your culinary needs. On the ground floor there is also a WC, and access to the secluded west facing back garden and patio. When the sun is shining, head out into the private garden and make the most of the fantastic sitting space, ideal for alfresco dining or enjoying a tipple under the stars. Upstairs you will find a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, bath, basin and WC along with two beautiful bedrooms. Nestled on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, between Ingleton and Kirkby Lonsdale, Thornton-in-Lonsdale is a quaint village with countryside scenery and easy access to many fantastic walks throughout the local scenery, including the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent. The village offers a lovely local farm shop, County Harvest, which also sports a café, ideal for stocking up on essentials and grabbing a cup of tea before heading out to explore, as well as a local pub, The Marton Arms. The neighbouring town of Ingleton offers more amenities and attractions, with local shops, a climbing wall, an outdoor pool (summer only) and selection of eateries, including The Falls Bar and Kitchen, the Wheatsheaf and La Tavernetta Italian Restaurant, as well as walks beside the beautiful River Greta, ideal for birdwatching, and for exploring the picturesque Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. Kirkby Lonsdale is a larger town offering more amenities and independent stores, and the stunning landscape of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is laced with fantastic trails ideal for hikes and mountain biking, including Beezley Falls, Thornton Force Waterfall, Ribblehead Viaduct and Cotter Force. The village of Thornton-in-Lonsdale is also within reach of the beautiful Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Settle to Carlisle railway, Silverdale and Arnside aonb for a visit to the coast and the stunning Lake District National Park, where there are many watersports and wild swimming opportunities.
