Number 6 is a beautifully decorated, cosy cottage in a peaceful rural setting, ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped kitchen. The enclosed garden is perfect for dogs, and the proximity to the train station is convenient for travel. Thoughtful touches such as welcome packs are appreciated, though not guaranteed. Some guests mention limited heating control and minor maintenance issues, but overall, the cottage offers a relaxing and enjoyable stay with excellent access to local walks and attractions.

Cleanliness is frequently highlighted, with many guests describing the cottage as spotless, very clean, and well maintained. Only one review mentions inconsistent bathroom cleanliness, but this is outweighed by the overwhelmingly positive feedback.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, scenic views, and proximity to the train station and local attractions. Some guests note the distance to the village and limited bus services, but overall, the setting is considered excellent for exploring the area.

Guests find the cottage cosy, comfortable, and quiet, with comfortable beds and a homely atmosphere. A few mention the property being cold due to limited heating hours and steep stairs, but these are minor compared to the positive comments.

The cottage is described as well equipped, with a good kitchen, enclosed garden, and useful amenities like a washing machine and smart TV. Some minor issues are noted, such as a slippy shower floor, small shower enclosure, and occasional TV or heating limitations.

Guests appreciate thoughtful touches such as welcome packs with tea, coffee, milk, and cleaning supplies, as well as small gestures like fresh flowers. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

We loved that the little station is across the road so went to Leighton Moss, Leeds and Morpeth. We love the 1 mile walk with views to Ingleborough, to the village shop, stream, wool product shop, the bike shop with coffee and cakes, the Sawmill cafe and the Cave walk en route to ingleborough. It’s a quiet beautiful area even in summer. Wonderful cycling and walking.
