We had a good time at this cottage. The location is very odd, at the end of a long lane with caravan parks and a bit of an industrial feel. But a good walk into Brigg where there are shops and pubs. The lodge is not owned by the site owner, but she was lovely and the whole site was spotless! We arrived and the hot tub smelled strange and the water was yellow. We contacted the owner and he said he would speak to the cleaner, but no one ever came to sort it. The owner did offer us a dinner out as way of an apology which was absolutely incredible, but we booked the lodge for the hot tub. We ended up going out and buying chlorine the next morning, we cleaned the filter and put chlorine in and we did use it in the end.The lodge itself is lovely, but I don’t think the dishwasher worked too well because the cutlery and glasses were dirty, we ended up washing them all by hand. There is plenty of seating and big TVs so we had a lovely movie night with the kids. We did have a great time, there were just a couple of niggly things that needed sorting.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage, the owner was very approachable and helpful. The accomodation was clean and spacious and kitchen well equipped. There was a huge array of snacks provided which was much appreciated as we missed lunch!
