The Cottage was cleaned to a LOW standard, the condition and finish is poor, the area is not great at all with a travellers settlement close by, there is not information in the property to explain how anything works, televisions were not working, no literature about the local area and what we could do/visit. I have written a serious complaint letter to Cottages.com with photographic evidence.

Very pleasant stay in a lovely lodge. The lodge is fully equipped with everything you need. Air fryer, microwave, fridge, freezer, heating, hot water, oven, all cutlery, pots, pans, glasses.. everything you would find at home! The hot tub was to die for. Set on your own private decking, jet functions, underwater lights. Lovely temperature and the host comes to treat it daily, keeping it nice and clean and fresh. We were messaged by the lodge owner a day before we came away offering us an extra night of free! Of course we took it, very generous and thoughtful. We were welcome by Neelan, who gave us a tour and showed us everything. We were welcome with a goodie bag of crisps, biscuits, sweets and Prosecco which was an unexpected bonus. The site was very quiet, easy to sleep. The lodges are spacious, tv in 2 of the bedrooms and one in the lounge, which was very large. Sofas are comfortable. The host was always on hand if any issues arised. Very attentive and it’s nice to know he’s there to sort anything the same day. The site is secure with a gated entrance with passkey. We thought the price was very reasonable. Area is ok. Brigg is nice, Skegness and hour away and Cleethorpes 30 minutes. We would definitely return and maybe look at one of the bigger lodges if we bring more people but the lavender is perfect for a family of 4 or 5. 2 double beds and one bunk bed. If they could improve the small park on the site, it would be perfect.
