Guests say

Grisedale Coach House in Skipton is a spacious and comfortable cottage praised for its peaceful location and beautiful views. It's well-equipped for a relaxing or active holiday, with a special mention for its festive readiness during Christmas. While some guests noted areas for improvement, the overall sentiment is positive, with recommendations for walking breaks and peaceful getaways.

The property generally maintains good cleanliness, though a few guests noted minor issues with bathroom and kitchen cleanliness. These seem easily rectifiable and did not deter guests from enjoying their stay.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness and proximity to Skipton and scenic walks, making it an ideal spot for those looking to explore the Yorkshire Dales.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage spacious, suitable for groups and families. The presence of multiple bathrooms adds to the comfort of the stay.

While the cottage is well-equipped, some guests mentioned dated kitchen items and the need for an enclosed patio. There is room for improvement in updating facilities and addressing the garden area.

The owners displayed thoughtfulness by providing a decorated Christmas tree for guests arriving during the festive season. However, such gestures may not be a consistent offering for all stays.

Does not have enclosed garden/patio as advertised. It is an open area with stones and the cars for all 3 properties park right outside your back door. Not pleasant to sit at outside tables with people coming and going. Possibly needs fixing slightly. Dog had to stay totally indoors. This applies to the front as well with people walking straight past front window. Some kitchen items very dated and need replacing. Otherwise a spacious cottage and lovely area.

The cottage was beautiful. It was in such a peaceful location. The views were amazing from the lounge window and the beds were really comfy. Close to Skipton for the main shops. Went on a couple of walks which were both drivable to and visited many different places in the area.
