Dragonfly safari tent is nestled in the North Yorkshire countryside between Masham and Ripon. It sleeps up to six people with two comfortable bedrooms. Inside, you'll find a spacious open-plan living area with a wood-burning stove and a well-equipped kitchenette, plus a private decking overlooking the open countryside. The surrounding area offers a variety of outdoor and local family friendly activities, perfect for keeping everyone entertained.

Each safari tent features a generous living space with an open-plan kitchenette equipped with a microwave oven, four-plate induction hob, fridge, freezer and tea and coffee facilities. The spacious living area includes two large sofas, a Smart TV, and a wood-burning stove, while the dining area boasts a large family table with great views over the terrace.

Dragonfly has two comfortable bedrooms, accommodating up to six people, including children of all ages. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has a double set of bunk beds sleeping four. A travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request. All bedrooms are dressed with Egyptian cotton bed linen, 13.5 tog duvets and an electric blanket for added comfort.

The private family bathroom includes all facilities with a generous overhead rainfall shower.

Step outside onto your private decking and enjoy uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. You can cook on the gas BBQ or sit around the firepit, toasting marshmallows and relax with your favourite drink.

Dogs are welcome, making this a tranquil retreat with easy access to local walks and grassy areas right on the doorstep, as well as plenty of space for dog beds.

For added relaxation, a wood-fired Sauna and Cold Plunge’ experience is available on site, the perfect space to unwind, reconnect and recharge with your loved ones. More details can be found below.

Three dogs are allowed for a small additional charge per dog. We politely ask that dogs are kept off all beds and furniture

The wood-fired sauna and cold plunge overlooks the River Ure for an unforgettable experience.

Feel your stress fade away in the sauna and rejuvenate in the cold plunge. Rain or shine, the Sauna & Plunge offers a space to relax, reconnect, and recharge.

You can book the entire sauna for yourself, couple or friends/family. This is a private session, so you will not have to share the sauna with others. We allow a maximum of 4 people in a private session. This is a 90’ minute long session including time for changing before and after.

If you book on behalf of your group, you need to make sure that everybody has read and agreed to the waiver form.

Everybody in the group needs to be at least 16 years old to use the sauna.
