Here you’ll experience a sense of peace and tranquillity being deep in the countryside and yet under two miles from the picturesque town of Pateley Bridge having a variety of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, and other amenities. Centred on a network of local footpaths and close to sections of the Nidderdale way and Pennine way the location is ideal for those who love walking. Whether you’re looking for gentle walks or more of a challenge you’ll find trails along rivers Nidd and Wharfe, around the many nearby reservoirs, or high on the hills and moors above Nidderdale and Wharfedale. For cyclists many great routes are on the doorstep including the Tour de France and Yorkshire challenges of Greenhow Hill and Blubberhouses Hill. Probably the best cottage we have stayed in.Built within the last 5 years the standard of finish throughout is very good.It is remote and can take a bit of finding. You are best to follow the owners directions rather than your satnav.But that is part of the appeal of the property.Pateley Bridge is a 20 minute drive away and we loved the pies in Kendalls butchers (also in Harrogate).Cant speak highly enough of the property or the owners.
