Centred on a network of local footpaths and close to sections of the Nidderdale way and Pennine way the location is ideal for those who love walking. Whether you’re looking for gentle walks or more of a challenge you’ll find trails along rivers Nidd and Wharfe, around the many nearby reservoirs, or high on the hills and moors above Nidderdale and Wharfedale. For cyclists many great routes are on the doorstep including the Tour de France and Yorkshire challenges of Greenhow Hill and Blubberhouses Hill. The Burrow is fabulous. It is nestled in the most beautiful countryside setting with incredible walks from the door. It is extremely comfortable and very well equipped with all mod cons. A perfect base to explore Nidderdale and beyond. You will be assured a very warm and friendly welcome; we would not hesitate to book again when back in this part of Yorkshire.
