Simply everything you'd need for a break. Cleanliness is outstanding. It's the most cozy cottage in the most ideal location. We had a wedding at the Old Deanery, truly a 2 minutes walk around the corner. Sainsburys is a 2 minute walk straight ahead up the dirt track road. Parking was easy no issues. My labrador dog was very cozy and loved his adventure, plenty of beautiful walks locally. Also lots of dog friendly eateries. We were an adult family of four, and it was just perfect. Teresa & Ben are the most amazing hosts and truly made us all feel so very welcome, simply wonderful people with such kind souls. Thank you both, it was a magical weekend ✨️

Parking space outside. Lots of cafes nearby and close to the river and canals for walks. Would probably not go back in the summer because the small yard at the back is very scruffy and uninviting but this might well be because of the time of year and the recent weather. The owner probably smartens it up for the summer. I wrote in the book that overall the cottage was great & ideal for us this time but more up to date local information (not just take away outlets) and a map of the town would be nice because the tourist information is closed in the winter and Smiths didn't have a local map. Also we were surprised that there was only a small one cup caffetier (sp !) although the house sleeps 4 and is advertised for 2. We never drink instant coffee (and very few people we know do from choice) so that was a small problem. We managed to overcome it by buying a tea-strainer and using a jug but not ideal.
