This fantastic property offers a comfortable stay within the Cathedral City of Ripon and is located within a stone’s throw of the Market Place with its charming narrow cobbled streets and historic buildings. This lovely mid-terraced property has had all the love and attention it deserves, and has been finished to a high standard, providing you with all the modern amenities you need to make your stay in Ripon perfect.
You enter the property into the kitchen on the ground floor, from the small courtyard at the back of the house. The kitchen is well equipped for all your culinary needs including a great fold away breakfast bar providing an ideal place for you to enjoy your breakfast. The ground floor also offers a lovely, comfy living area with a charming gas fireplace for those cold wintery nights.
On the first floor there are two good-sized double bedrooms and bathroom which offers a gorgeous walk-in shower, underfloor heating along with a heated towel rail. To the back of the property, is a delightful little courtyard with a table and 4 chairs giving you a great place to have a drink al fresco.
The cottage is situated just off Kirkgate which is lined with restaurants, cafés, local pubs and gift shops; Kirkgate connects the Market Place to the historic cathedral. The cottage is also well placed for walking and exploring the Yorkshire Dales, whilst the spa town of Harrogate, Fountains Abbey, RHS Garden Harlow Carr and Studley Royal are just a short drive away. This all means that Court Terrace is a fantastic base for your perfect Yorkshire getaway. Pub 1 mile.

Whilst the cottage is good it could be better, the welcome pack needs a serious update (the car park nearby no longer takes cash and the website address for it is wrong). There was no wifi code in the pack. Also, the pack talked about a remote for the heating (there isnt one). An explanation that the thermostat is upstairs would help. A

We really enjoyed our week at Court Terrace. Fabulous location in the middle of beautiful Ripon. Restaurants, pubs, walks and shops right on the doorstep. You can park right outside so no lugging bags about. Plenty of buses if you want to travel further afield. The cottage itself is lovely. Good quality. Fully equipped. Snug. Enclosed rear garden area shared with next door so was great for our little pooch to have a sniff about. . It’s quite compact but charming. The heating and hot water are piping hot and the shower and water pressure are wonderful. The cottages.com app doesn’t give the full key collection information and needs to be updated. We did receive an email with collection instructions but this went into junk which we missed so we had to phone when we couldn’t access the property upon arrival. The owners were extremely accommodating for all our needs and we absolutely loved our stay. 10/10 and we’d love to come visit again.

We had a long weekend at the cottage It well decorated and had everything we needed. Great location to explore Ripon Lots of places to eat out and great local shops. We were able to park up for the whole weekend and found lovely walks locally.
