Richmond is a market town in Swaledale country, North Yorkshire, where you will find stunning Georgian architecture, cobbled streets and riverside walks, as well as a plethora of places to shop, eat and drink. At the heart of the town is the Norman fortress dating back to 1071, famously situated high above the river. Also within the town you will find one of the oldest surviving theatres in the country with visitors enjoying its regular productions all year round.

Minor comments were 1. We felt the duvet was quite small and 2. batteries in remote handset were flat and 3. it would have been great to have an enclosed garden, however all minor comments. Overall very well equipped, good instructions and we really appreciated the tea, coffee and cleaning materials supplied. Thank you.

Plenty of crockery, cutlery, cleaning products and dishwasher tablets. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend.

It had every utensil you could possibly need. Instructions for any equipment provided. Richmond is a very nice town with all the amenities. There are very good restaurants and cafes and craft shops. There are easy journeys to Ripon and Harrogate and a much longer journey to Whitby if wanted to visit. It was nice that the leaves were swept up and they dealt immediately with a barking dog in one of the cottages. There is only one suggestion to improve the facilities and that is that a grab handle in the shower would be appreciated by less steady guests.
