Guests appreciate the well-equipped nature of the cottage and the peaceful environment it offers. While some guests mention issues with the television, shower pressure, and bed comfort, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently note the cottage's immaculate condition, highlighting its cleanliness as a significant positive aspect. The property is well-maintained, contributing to the pleasant stay of the visitors.
The location is generally well-regarded due to its proximity to Richmond and scenic walks, although a few guests felt the description of the distance was misleading. The peaceful setting is also appreciated.
The cottage is often described as cosy and comfortable, with several guests commenting on the quality of the sofas and the overall homely feel. However, some guests found the beds too firm and the double bed uncomfortable for taller individuals.
Facilities are deemed adequate by most guests, with special mentions of the well-equipped kitchen and communal laundry area. Some guests experienced issues with the television and shower, and one reported a problem with the door lock, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.
Several reviews mention thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge and tea/coffee provisions, which were well-received. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

The description about the cottage is what you get. There was everything we needed for cooking wise. Instead of instructions notes lying around, it would be neater if an information booklet was to hand. To include local attractions, restaurants, take away restaurants etc. The one negative thing we found the outside space not being enclosed we couldn't let our dog out, also the patio door was the only source of ventilation in the room . But we couldn't keep the door open in case our dog escaped . It could do with a small fence to make it a bit safer for our four legged friends. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.
