If you enjoy walking there's plenty to do in a week's break. We were lucky enough to be there during the Swaledale festival so saw a wonderful musical performance at the village church. A comfortable stay in a breath taking location.

Lovely area in general. We had a great holiday. We managed alot of walking, many walks straight from the cottage. The cottage was great, one slight downside is the limited parking in the hamlet. In case others go in the next few weeks, there are roadworks on the road from Reeth towards the Tan Hill Inn with some closures and some traffic light sections. The crew did their best to get us through or provide info.

Cottage had everything we needed. WiFi connection was good. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again as we love this area of the country. CB Inn is walkable does lovely food and dogs allowed. For me the pillows were a little too hard and big but this is a personal things. Luckily I always pack toilet rolls as non provided (Don’t get caught out as nearest shop 3 miles away).
