The cottage was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen tap is very loose but we are sure this will be fixed. It’s in a very good position in Pickering. Parking wasn’t a problem. We had a restful break.

So were disappointed to receive an email shortly before our stay advising that due to maintenance work we would not be allowed to park off road, no builders arrived during our stay and you could clearly see from the gravel drive and seating up the drive, that no private parking is ever available! And was very pleased we didn’t take our 3 year old grandson, due to the open staircase on one side, not sure how this has passed Sykes Cottages usual high standard, have used Sykes for the past 20 years, was very disappointed with this cottage!
