Filey 2 miles. An attractive end-terrace property situated in the pretty village of Muston, two miles from the popular seaside town of Filey. This lovely cottage featured on children's TV programme Mr Bloom's Nursery on CBeebies in February 2013, and provides warm and welcoming accommodation for family or friends. Offering an attractive cottage style kitchen with Belfast sink and double oven, this Filey cottage also provides two bedrooms and a cosy sitting room with a homely woodburner. Outside this Filey cottage, there is a small sheltered courtyard with a snicket leading to a delightful, separate lawned garden overlooking open paddocks - an ideal, peaceful spot to sit and relax.
A local inn is within 2 minutes' walk whilst a short drive brings you to the superb long beaches of Filey. This quaint, unspoilt seaside town offers a historic harbour, long promenades and a good selection of shops and tea rooms. Hire one of the colourful beach huts overlooking the sea or take a traditional pony ride along the wide expanse of sand. Just outside the town lies a country park with an animal sanctuary nearby whilst for walkers, Filey marks the start of the long distance coastal hike of the Cleveland Way. With easy access to Scarborough and the North York Moors and Yorkshire Wolds, this Filey cottage is in an enviable location.

The owner was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It was obvious they care, and were anxious to ensure everything was as it should be (which it was). The cottage was clean, comfortable, and warm. Upon arrival, we found a really nice welcome basket of groceries and a personal note, all very lovely. There was absolutely everything here we needed, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The Wi-fi is decent and consistent, the TV a decent size and up to date and modern (Roku), meaning connecting my Firestick was easy. There is but one thing I would identify, and it is an observation, not an issue / complaint! The 'off-street' parking space is suitable only for a very small car. Our (admittedly) quite large SUV would likely just about half fit. However, there is plenty of outside parking, and the fact that there is a dropped kerb in front of the driveway meant parking immediately outside of the cottage was easy, our whole stay. I would definitely recommend Sunnyside Cottage, and would return without hesitation!
