Bickley School Annexe is a charming, well-equipped cottage set in a tranquil, remote location ideal for those seeking peace, nature, and scenic walks. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and excellent shower. The cottage is perfect for a relaxing break, with beautiful forest surroundings and wildlife. While the remote setting is a highlight, visitors recommend planning ahead for supplies. Minor suggestions include updating some items and improving garden security for dogs. Overall, guests leave refreshed and eager to return.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as clean, warm, and well-maintained, with specific praise for the bedding and shower. Only one minor mention of a rusty iron, but overall cleanliness is consistently rated highly.

The remote, peaceful location is repeatedly described as idyllic, perfect for escaping daily life, and surrounded by nature. Guests love the forest setting, walks from the door, and dark skies. The only caution is the distance to shops, which is seen as part of the charm.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful environment and quality bedding are frequently mentioned. Only minor suggestions for improvement are noted.

The cottage is described as well-equipped, with a good kitchen, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Facilities meet guests' needs, though one review notes the iron needs replacing and the garden could be more secure for dogs.

Guests appreciate the owner's excellent communication and the convenience of local produce stalls and food deliveries. While some mention homemade cakes and fresh eggs at a nearby stall, these are not guaranteed as part of the stay.

This is a lovely holiday cottage. A few things now need updating. The iron was unusable as it was rusty. To be safe for dogs it could do with a closed off garden. Overall though it was lovely

Really enjoyed our stay at Bickley House, great location, very scenic, quiet and relaxing place. Facilities were great all the rooms are a good size, sitting in the garden having breakfast, great experience, local wildlife wondering past. Access was great, you do think you’ve taken a wrong turn initially but stick with it and you’ll be amazed when it pops into view. Definitely go again.
