We had a wonderful two weeks with great walks straight from the door, and a respite from fireworks. The underfloor heating was very welcome too.

The area and views are fantastic! The cottage was very comfortable with all the facilities needed to enjoy our stay. The access was a bit tricky due to a landslide taking out the usual access road but the owners informed us of the situation and provided instructions for an alternative route. If you have a dog be aware there is no enclosed garden which is a shame and would benefit the property. Also, remember to take a torch! It’s really dark at night which is amazing for looking at the stars but not so great for walking the dog, especially after a few bottles of wine
