It is a lovely property and very spacious, we were a party of 2 with 2 dogs. When you enter the Loft, you are straight into a large boot room, which is a great area for drying off the dogs after a walk and leaving our boots and coats. It also contains the washing machine, with the dryer just outside the door in the carport, again which is very useful. The Loft was so cosy, in fact we had to turn the temperature down to suit us, but this was easy to do using the thermostat. There is everything you need in the kitchen, with a big fridge freezer making a change to the usually small ones in other cottages. The bed is the most comfortable i've ever slept on, I called it the magical mattress! The dogs loved their walks around the farm, there are a lot of fields to walk around, the road is quiet to walk down and there is a farm road behind the cottage that takes you on a circular walk. There are also numerous other walks from the door we didn't have time to do. We visited Filey beach as we love it there, but be careful of the tide times. We also visited Filey Country Park. But other than that we didn't leave the farm grounds as it was so nice to be able to potter around there. The owners are very nice, thank you for the welcome basket for us and the dogs, and are around if you need anything, but otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay. We will definitely be back if we visit the area again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend is to family and friends.

We really loved our stay, a nice big comfy bed is just what you need after a good days exploring the area. It is on a working farm so please do expect noise from the cattle and farm machinery but in our time here it was very minimal compared to our last visit. We had a nice welcome pack left for us which after our journey here was a very welcoming and you can have a nice cup of tea or coffee with a lovely cookie (which are very moorish indeed) Our dog Ernie wasn't left out as there was some treats for him too. We visited places like Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Filey, Scarborough, Pickering and you must go and visit Riveaulx Abby. And the beach at Hornsea was just wonderful for our dog (please check dates and where you can take your dog on the beach) Over all our stay was a much welcomed break for us and Ernie too.
