Aptly named ‘North Sea Views’, this gorgeous holiday cottage resides within a peaceful cul-de-sac on the dramatic headland of Knipe Point, just to the south of the historic coastal town of Scarborough. This location is ideal location for exploring the dramatic Yorkshire Coastline, and only a short stroll away from the beach following the steps down from the cliff top. The Cleveland Way passes by the doorstep, taking you along the coast and then inland into the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
The Yorkshire coastline draws guests back year upon year, with welcoming locals, fresh local seafood, a fascinating seafaring history and many picturesque views. Here at North Sea Views you can enjoy the scenery from the comfort of the living room, with glass patio doors making the most of the views. Stepping out through the patio doors decking offers an ideal vantage point, looking down over the headland and out to sea. Savour the views by enjoying dinner al-fresco! The attractive living room has two large three seater sofas and with a wide screen TV. This is open plan with the dining area, perfect for entertaining over a bottle of wine. The owners have provided lots of additional extras to make your stay more comfortable, including plenty of books to choose from. The modern kitchen generously equipped, ready to create all of your favourite meals. There are two well sized bedrooms, comprising a kingsize and a double, as well as a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Outside is a second side garden, with a hose for cleaning walking boots as well as bikes, alongside a shed with sun loungers and other beach equipment for you to use. Nearby is much to see and do, including many beautiful bays and beaches, such as Filey with over 5 miles of golden sand. Visit Scarborough with its Sea Life centre, open air theatre, Peasolm Park with oriental gardens and paddle boats, and Alpamare Water Park and Spa. For nature lovers you have Bempton Cliffs rspb bird centre, with nesting puffins and gannets. Flamborough Head is beautiful with dramatic white cliffs, seals and an iconic lighthouse. The stately homes of Sewerby Hall or Castle Howard are ideal for a day out. Explore the nearby North Yorkshire Moors National Park- the nearby village of Thornton Le Dale is a great spot to begin from, where you can enjoy an ice cream before venturing out on one of the many walking trails onto the moors. Beach 520 yards. Shop 1¾ miles, pub 1½ miles and restaurant 1 mile.

Lovely place with a fantastic view over Cayton Bay.Overall a good holiday with just a few niggles:-Some instructions on appliances would good and especially the heating as it is storage heaters (so you need to decide today what heating you need tomorrow).Some info on local places like take aways and pubs etc also.We found a pizza place just round corner and nearest pub was a 10 minute walk with another a 20 minute walk. The steps down to Cayton bay are a left out of the estate and carry on down road till you see a sign. The steps are steep and you cannot get to main part of beach if tide is in, (walk further on main road and take a left down to main beach.Scarborough is 3 miles and 45 minutes to front, ( you can follow Filey Road or take coastal path).As I say overall a great place with great views and well worth considering.

So peaceful, great location, beautiful views. Quiet residential area short drive from Scarborough. Very clean. Enclosed garden for the dog which was great. Hosts were on hand if needed. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future. Had a fantastic stay, so relaxing and plenty of room for us
