Enveloped by attractive walking trails, perfect for those who love the outdoors, Snowdrop Cottage welcomes three guests and two well-behaved dogs, offering a nature-filled escape. Arriving at off-road parking, travel towards the delightful stone-fronted cottage, nestled within a quiet and peaceful environment. Whether you're a morning person, or a night owl, the front patio will be an idyllic space to watch the sun rise, with a coffee in tow, or to stargaze, with a wine in hand, plunging you into the North Yorkshire countryside. Moving through to the sitting room, be welcomed by a woodburning stove, perfect for lighting on those colder nights whilst gathered around the TV or planning your impending adventures. As sleep calls, retreat to two well-presented bedrooms, both with ample storage to home your personal belongings, alongside a main bathroom with a bath and shower to select from; a double and a single will greet you, perfect for the entire family. Beyond Snowdrop Cottage you will find an array of amenities to make use of, from well-deserved meals at The Grapes Inn, The Coachman Inn and The Downe Arms, to shopping trips to the farm shop om Brompton. Keen walkers will enjoy exploring the trails across Cinder Track, the woodlands of Hole of Horcum, and the flowing rapids of Mallyan Spout Waterfall. Offering a piece of history, head to Beck Isle Museum, Eden Camp Modern History Museum, or Scarborough Castle, reflecting the county's medieval heritage. The exotic gardens of Peasholm Park, the manicured blooms of the Italian Gardens, and SEA LIFE Scarborough are all popular attractions for the entire family to enjoy, right on the doorstep of your new abode. Make some fabulous memories by booking Snowdrop Cottage in Scarborough.

The North York Moors National Park is just a short drive away from Sawdon, a little community nestled on the edge of the park. Walking trails lead out of Sawdon from the village's well-regarded tavern, The Anvil (open Wednesday through Sunday). Forge Valley, an area of exceptional countryside, may be found nearby in the small community of Brompton-by-Sawdon. This picturesque spot, complete with stone-built houses and a village butcher, is an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding countryside. Bruno, our poodle did too! The cottage had everything we needed. The view from the windows over the woodland, carpeted in snowdrops was spectacular and the cottage in a very peaceful location. We hope to go back next year and have a longer stay. A lovely welcome tray when we arrived and the owner of the cottage very helpful. Thankyou!
