All the cottages are finished with fixtures and fittings of the very highest standard and have open-plan dining. Some have en-suite bedrooms. They offer an ideal location from which to explore both the North York Moors National Park and the glorious Heritage Coast of Yorkshire.

Had a lovely weeks holiday in the Barn. The local countryside is stunning with access to lovely walks and local wildlife. The site feels secure and safe. Grandchildren loved the playground. The Barn itself is spacious - plenty of room for our 3 generations and well equipped.

Fabulous place just right for 8 adults 3 children and a large dog. Everything you could think of was available to us in the barn. A seat in one of the showers for the disabled would have been helpful. You may have one we didn’t ask but we managed okay. Mat to prevent slipping was available.Was a bit concerned about how close the cliff top might be but it was plenty far enough away.The place and views are stunning and I’m sure everyone who is lucky enough to stay there would say the same. Loved it.

We had a lovely family holiday in the barn with four pre-school children and six adults. The beds were comfortable and 3 bathrooms allowed one per family unit. The kitchen table allowed all to sit together for meals, although space was tight whilst prepping food, washing etc.Some of the kitchen utensils and pans need replacing, but a plentiful supply of glasses, mugs, plates and bowls was most welcome.The enclosed garden was appreciated as was the play area with swings etc. The windows were challenging to close and lock when going out; perhaps some could do with replacing or repairing?We managed to depart on time, although a small army of cleaners descended 30 minutes earlier than schedule which slightly hampered people departing.Overall we had a great time and found The Barn a good place from which to explore Scarborough.
