We've stayed here before as the location is perfect and we love this little cottage. It is cosy and warm and the facilities are more than adequate. Adding a coffee table would be good. Only minor grumble is the 'kerb appeal' (i e. outside steps/entrance/doormat) would benefit from a clean up. There was a lot of moss!

We were slightly worried it might be noisy when we returned to the property in the evening, but it wasn't.

But the location won and we hoped that that the issues we had last year were just an isolated incident. Unfortunately Not! There were items left on the floor from a previous occupier, including Christmas decorations and childs toy and worse of all broken glass. Which not only shows you that this property does not get cleaned properly but is also dangerous! Then the Sensor for the light outside and in the hall is obviously faulty, as this was going on and off all now which meant we got no sleep. But worst of all was the amount of black model in the en suite.
