Offering a private south-facing garden and patio furniture, you can wander outside at your own leisure and enjoy the pleasant location. To the south lies Whitby, with its beautifully situated abbey and historic port. Superb coastline, the spectacular North York Moors, a picturesque harbour and safe sandy beaches are all on hand and worthy of exploring. Other coastal villages to visit include Sandsend, Staithes and Runswick Bay. A well-appointed cottage for a romantic getaway.
Just inland of the old port of Robin Hoods Bay lies Fylingdales, and just to the south is Whitby, with its beautifully situated abbey and historic port. Elevated by its coastline and close proximity to the North York Moors, along with a picturesque harbour and safe sandy beaches to explore, other coastal villages to visit include Sandsend, Staithes and Runswick Bay.

The stables was very clean and had all the utilities you need. Pub just opposite very reasonable priced if you wish to use it. Perfect position for exploring the area. Would use it again. Thanks

It was very comfortable, furnished to a very high standard, was well equipped, and the owners very pleasant and helpful. However, the cottage was not in a tranquil position in the countryside as the description suggests. From the back door you can see a bit of countryside beyond the bank, but certainly not from the front. There is a large pub a few paces directly in front of the cottage with car parking and a sitting out area, a static caravan site to the right, a touring caravan site to the left, and a âthroughâ road passing directly outside the cottage to facilitate all the above , and also to the A171. In addition to this there is a bed and breakfast, and a âjetâ garage on site near the pub. The garden was not enclosed which was not stated either. If you like to be on top of a pub, in a busy area, this location is for you. I must reiterate again, that I have no complaints about the cottage, or the owners, just the very misleading information. I have photographic evidence to prove my point.
