From the cottage, a short stroll brings you into the heart of this bustling town, with quaint cobbled streets, a picturesque harbour and long, sandy beaches. With numerous restaurants and tea rooms to sample and lots to visit, including Whitby Abbey, Captain Cook's Museum, Pannett Park and the Dracula Experience, there is something for everyone. The surrounding North York Moors and the pretty coastal villages, such as Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay are well worth visiting, as is a trip on the renowned steam railway from Grosmont. A well-placed cottage for a holiday at any time of the year.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
