A lovely, stone-built, traditional terraced cottage, in the delightful village of Glaisdale, in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. With glorious views over open countryside, this characterful Glaisdale cottage has been lovingly restored and furnished throughout and provides a comfortable holiday home for exploring this beautiful area, within fifteen minutes' drive of Whitby. With stripped pine doors and beamed ceilings, this Glaisdale cottage has a warm and cosy sitting room with a woodburner, whilst stairs lead up to two charming cottage-style bedrooms,. With a homely feel throughout, the light, modern kitchen has large windows to take in the views, whilst outside there is a enclosed lawned garden and a patio - a lovely spot to enjoy a glass of wine on a balmy summer's evening. A three minute stroll from this Glaisdale cottage, brings you to the local inn, which serves real ale and excellent food, whilst half a mile away is a renowned butcher's, Post Office and village shop. This friendly village, with the River Esk meandering through it, is in an idyllic location, with numerous public footpaths, including the Coast to Coast long distance trail, passing the doorstep of this Glaisdale cottage. Why not visit the Danby Moors Centre or take a trip back in time on the steam railway at Grosmont?
